My current jewelry style combines a variety of materials that includes acrylic, imitation pearls, real pearls, silver, various rubber cord and tubing, thread and other common materials to create dynamic transitions and layers based on the traditional format of the pearl necklace. I mix fragments of traditional jewelry formats with materials that are generally not considered to be valuable creating a layered cohesiveness that transitions from one component to the next connecting recognizable fragments to common materials.
